Overview
This project involved the ground-up development of a 51,453-square-foot specialty hospital, designed to deliver high-acuity care in a modern, patient-centered environment. The facility supports a range of surgical and diagnostic services within a single, integrated footprint.
Outcome
The facility was delivered on schedule and configured to support a regional operator’s clinical and strategic growth. The building was designed to allow future expansion and compliance with CMS and state health licensing requirements.
Program Components
The building program was developed in close coordination with the operator and clinical leadership team to optimize flow, flexibility, and operational efficiency. Key elements included:
16 Inpatient Beds: Designed for short-stay recovery and overnight care, with fully monitored nursing support
4 Operating Rooms: Built to ambulatory surgical center (ASC) standards, supporting a range of outpatient and same-day procedures
2 Procedure Rooms: Dedicated for lower-acuity or diagnostic interventions
Advanced Imaging Suite: Fully equipped with MRI, CT, and R/F rooms for on-site diagnostics
Support + Admin Spaces:
Multiple nursing stations for high-visibility clinical care
Physician and administrative offices
Dedicated conference and education rooms
A flexible dining/multi-purpose area for staff and visitor use
